Start of the clock

I brought a clock mechanism, Then traced out the butterfly shape and then had it cut out and the back routered out to fit the clock mechanism and is now just being primed the it will be ready to be painted with my design. What do you think so far?

Started with the basics of a patchwork quilt to start me off with the process.

New order for girls bedroom set

I have just been asked to make a matching bedroom set for a little girl, So patchwork quilt, clock, canvasses, curtains and lampshade, Bunting and a wooden freestanding name plaque are all in the thought process at the moment, september is so busy so will have to find some special time to put aside for this task.

Its a pleasure baking with the girls, we made butter biscuits then covered them in icing and gems (I think I will eat the plain ones and leave the iced biccys to Millie and Co')

Garden delight

Ventured into the garden this morning and didnt get back in till 4.30pm, I had forgotten how much I love the garden. I miss my home grown veggies and apple trees from our old place, We can grow some bits next year, They say that the tax is going up and groceries will get more expensive if thats possible ???
So will be watching the garden this year for where the sunny spots are and where the shade is so I can fit the right plants and veggies in the right positions.
So I got my UV rays I needed, the girls loved the fresh air and went to bed early and feel really positive about next year.

Cant get clip cards right....

Brought some clips to make into birthday cards, the idea being that the clips can be used once the cards finished with, but need to work on the idea ALOT! as they seem a bit poor right now... does not help that the girls are helping! Dont normally post photos of the girls on here but this is a cute one!

Door signs from Granma's trees

Today I made some door signs for our house from the trunks of Granma's connifer trees that she had cut down, Granma suggested I should name the house "DUNROAMIN" as I have had a bout 19 addresses in my little ole life so far!
